2007 & Newer Shelby GT500, Supercharged Mustang Cobra
This cleverly-engineered adapter is designed to replace the OEM PCV valve adapter found on the passenger side valve cover in the supercharged Cobra, GT500, and other Modular Ford applications.
It installs as a direct replacement for the original part and even uses the original mounting fasteners. The adapter housing is CNC-machined from billet aluminum, and as an option, contains a modified 2003/2004 Mustang Cobra PCV valve. When the PCV option is selected, the kit ships with a Fragola adapter bushing that fits above the valve and has female 1/2" NPT threads to accept the AN fitting of your choice.
This kit is designed for users building a custom PCV system to better manage crank case pressures in high boost applications.
This kit may fit many other Modular applications using a similar 2-bolt flange on the cam cover, but fitment has not been confirmed on vehicles other than those specifically listed above.
All of the parts included in this kit can be purchased separately. For some applications not requiring the PCV valve, only the base with the o-ring is necessary to connect an AN fitting directly to the cam cover. The aluminum base has 3/4" NPT female threads and the black bushing (optional with PCV valve) has 1/2" NPT female threads.
The standard kit is the CNC-machined base with the o-ring seal. If desired, you may add the PCV valve and adapter bushing using the drop-down menu below.
Image 4 (above) shows a Fragola 10AN to 3/4" NPT adapter fitting installed (not included). This fitting is available from Fragola under PN 199009-BL.
Due to variations in the PCV valve as provided by Ford, the length of the adapter base may vary.
Note 1: Some cam covers may have the 2-bolt flange cast into the cam cover, but the two mounting holes may not be drilled and tapped. In these instances, the user must perform this task.
Note 2: If your vehicle has a sensor connection or heater wire at the PCV valve, modification may be required to use this PCV adapter.
